Annual Canoe Festival Road Run/Walk
Date: Friday, June 11,
2010 at 6:00 p.m. Location: One block
west of Darlington's Main Street located at Riverside Park The Course: Flat,
through scenic woods along the Pecatonica River on a trail. All pre-registered will receive a
t-shirt. Refreshments are provided at the finish! Entry Fee: $10.00 per
person (before June 5th, 2010), $12.00 per person (after June 5th, 2010), and there is
also a family entrance fee of $30.00 (up to two adults and their unmarried
children). Age Divisions 5 Mile Male: 18 and Under; 19-29; 30-39;
40-49; 50+ Women: 18 and Under; 19-29;
30-39; 40+ 2 Mile Both: 13 and Under; 14-18;
19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50+ 2 Mile Walk No Age Divisions 1 Mile Boys and Girls 10and under
(everyone receives a ribbon for participating) Prizes 1st - Plaques in each 2 mile and 5
mile division 2nd and 3rd - Medals in each
division 1 Mile Run: Plaques to the
top boy and girl. Medals to 2nd and 3rd. Ribbons to all
runners.
